Experience
I hold a masters in human resources, a MBA in marketing, and a bachelor's in communications. I minored in marketing and journalism. I'm currently working on my doctorate in organizational leadership with a concentration on higher education. For over a decade, I have guided professionals in developing valuable communication, marketing, and leadership skills. I've developed more than 15 educational training courses, as well as worked as a Director of Admissions. I believe passion, high standards, and encouragement are invaluable qualities in a tutor and a teacher. I work with each student independently to develop a lesson plan that emphasizes their abilities while improving their weaknesses. As a tutor, I work hard to break down complex material into easily understood concepts that we can then expand upon. I primarily work with students on business and English courses, however I am fluent in Spanish as well. I can help a student improve their college essays by providing feedback and constructive criticism. I know what instructors and schools look for in an application and can use this to a student's advantage. When I'm not tutoring, I love to dance, regardless of the type of music or style. I am passionate about my church.
