I'm currently a petroleum engineering student at the Colorado School of Mines, and also I'm pursuing minors in business and economics. I've tutoring experience, mostly helping students with the math portion of the SAT and other math coursework. I look at math problems is a puzzle, and I enjoy working with students to help them develop the problem-solving skills. When I work with a student, I identify where the gaps in their learning are, and then I fill those in so the student has a fundamental understanding before we add more concepts. I can tutor algebra, calculus, pre-calculus, middle school math, math test prep, and more. Outside of math, I can also tutor essays, history, social studies, and English. In my free time, I like to study world history, read, stay active, spend time with friends, and watch Netflix.
