I have been involved in education all my life. I tutor from 6-adult in the subjects listed. One of my creeds to live by is to give back to the community, so I always want to teach the younger generation what I have learned. I am a TX certified English and ESL teacher for 6-12th grade. My speciality is in writing essays and critical reading. I have written a thesis: Maintaining an Immigrant Heritage Language Other Than Spanish or English in the Bilingual Culture of the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.

Hobbies

I enjoy music: I sing, play the piano and guitar a little. I sing alto, soprano, and tenor. I sing in a church choir and at home at family gatherings. I enjoy writing poetry and prose. I like to recycle and to live green. I drink purified water. I enjoy canning and baking and cooking from scratch when I have the time. I find peace in gardening and enjoy using the produce I raised in my cooking. I use fresh herbs and lettuces the most. I am also into good nutrition yields great health. I eat fruits and vegetables. I choose organic produce and products when possible.
