I tutor a wide variety of subjects, but I am most passionate about classical education. I especially love romantic poetry, classical philosophy, Shakespearean theater, and literary criticism. However, I also tutor math courses, from basic math to Geometry, Spanish, American and European history, public speaking, English courses, and many others. I also enjoy helping students prepare for their SAT and PSAT tests, and I enjoy tutoring both students learning in the classroom and those engaging in home-schooling. I earned my bachelor's degree in English, minoring in Biblical Studies, at Biola University. This university is near L.A. and is a private Christian liberal arts college. During college, I was also a member of the Torrey Honors Institute. In addition, I often led honors-level discussion classes. I enjoyed leading these classes, because I like to help others develop critical-thinking skills. I believe that critical thinking helps students in many aspects of their educations, and it empowers them to learn how to find their own answers to problems and also master difficult classes. When not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my four brothers, watching B movies, playing board games, and catching Pokémon. You can also often find me indulging in a great cup of espresso or two.
