I struggled as a young student, and I needed a tutor to help me figure out how to learn effectively. I was always working at a slower pace and having more difficulty understanding ideas in the classroom, but tutoring helped me refine my understanding and keep up. When I began tutoring other students, I realized that I wasn't just helping them learn, but I was also reinforcing my own knowledge of the subjects we studied. Tutoring also allows me to give back to the educational community for helping me work through my learning obstacles. My tutoring specialty is chemistry. Many students think chemistry is difficult, and it can be, but it can also be very rewarding to learn. I will guide students through the learning process of chemistry to help them achieve success in the subject. I believe that every student can succeed if they have motivation and are willing to put in the effort. In my free time, I enjoy judo, calligraphy, and bowling.
