I'm a tutor in the Spring, Texas area who is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, with an emphasis on Pre-Medicine at the University of Texas Honors College, where I'm a Merit and Terry Scholar. I graduated high school in the top 3 percent of my class, with an International Baccalaureate diploma. I began tutoring while I was in high school, and have continued to tutor students since. Additionally, I'm a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a medical honor society, and the American Medical Student Association. I also volunteer at the Texas Children's Hospital, have a leadership certificate from the Ted Bauer Leadership Certificate Program, and work with the Bonner Leaders Program. I believe that one of the greatest forms of satisfaction comes from helping a student who is struggling overcome academic obstacles. I tutor students in numerous different subjects, including algebra, calculus, elementary math, middle school math, biology, chemistry, Spanish, arithmetic, science, public speaking, phonics, reading, and English. Additionally, I tutor International Baccalaureate students in IB Biology HL, IB Biology SL, IB Extended Essay, IB Language B SL, and IB Mathematical Studies. I'm also available to help students with ACT and SAT prep, essay editing, summer tutoring, and improving their study skills. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, dancing, and photography.
