Experience
I received my undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts from the University of St. Thomas, where I also completed my premedical classes. I then attended and graduated from Ross University School of Medicine. I've been employed as a lab tech and a medical assistant, and have co-authored published medical research articles on prostate cancer. I am applying to medical residency programs, but will continue to share my strengths and experiences by tutoring students from elementary through college age. My areas of expertise include math (elementary and middle school), algebra 1 and 2, calculus 1 and 2, trigonometry, statistics, biostatistics, science, biology, chemistry, microbiology, physics, physiology, and Spanish. I enjoy helping students learn new concepts, increase their strengths and skills, and reach new intellectual levels through spirited discussion and careful attention to detail. I currently live in Spring, Texas. My favorite hobby is running. Other pastimes include soccer, reading medical novels and classical poetry, and also playing guitar.
